The Indonesian Customs agency (and this post office delivering for them) is highway robbery! They've changed tax fees in 2020 (DURING THE PANDEMIC) to a major increase for imports, including gifts! They taxed my family member over 50% of the item's value when I sent them a present overseas. If the tax isn't paid, the item is kept by the agency and most likely "disappears" because it's taken by whoever works there. A warning to all not to send in anything overseas while this crazy tax is in place.

I wish I could leave 10,000 Minus stars for this place !!! I have been "taxed" many times receiving packets from abroad , samples , old used worthless clothes that people want replicating ,and taxed 500% the value of the GIFT sent to me from family before now also. The worst yet was when the Mafia Inside TAXED me on the COST OF THE POSTAGE ($25.50) from the sender. Yes. They couldnt charge me on the item inside so they printed out a bill for TAX on the PRICE OF SHIPPING! THEY TAXED ME ON THE COST THE CUSTOMER PAID TO SEND ME THE PACKAGE !! IS THAT NOT ILEGAL ?? Would give no stars if possible. This post office is the worst. I sent a gift to my family from the USA and the post office would not let my family take the package until they paid this so called “tax” of $150 which got reduced to $100. These people are liars and abusing their power as post office workers. they are scamming people out of money for a fake tax and using that money for personal gain. I will never be using the post office to send anything international. They say what comes around goes around. Watch your back post office.

I receive 2 package with the same price but 1 with double rate tax. I should received them on Dec 30, 2020, but the report is delivery fail, although we were at home, the courier didn't call my phone or ring the bell, so I received them on Jan 2, 2021.
